This is the planned route for May 2019 returning via Penkridge and Great Haywood
A 25 day trip +/- extra days, starting on 4th May.
The dates are anti-clockwise heading up through Fradley and Stoke on Tent. The trip is an extension of the Four Counties ring to include the Macclesfield canal and a trip to the end of the Peak Forest canal.

The journey takes in the four counties of Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire, and West Midlands. The return can be either via Great Heywood and Fradley Junction, or through Birmingham and Wolverhampton as the trip back from Autherley Junction takes about the same time either way.
The route could have been extended by about seven days to take in the Cheshire ring but the planned route doesn’t include this because the Marple flight is closed until at least the 24th May.
