This is the planned route for June 2019 returning via Leamington Spa, Warwick and the BCN.
A 24 day trip +/- extra days, starting on 12th June.
The dates are clockwise heading up through Fradley, Burton on Trent and a side trip to Nottingham. Then setting off south on the River Soar before getting onto the Grand Union Canal Leicester mainline and up the Foxton flight.
A weeks layover at Gayton (ABC) marina has beed added to accommodate crew availability.
The Return trip is via Warwick, Leamington Spa, and Birmingham. This includes the Stockton and Bascote Locks (16 Locks) and Hatton Flight (21 Locks). The Overnight stop at Kingswood Junction provides an opportunity to visit NT Baddesley Clinton.
The trip could be shortened to 20 days by cutting out the side trip to Nottingham.
A number of side routes such as the Market Harborough Arm and Central Birmingham provide opportunities to extend the trip.
